{"id":1100,"date":"2016-06-15T11:29:08","date_gmt":"2016-06-15T11:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stompville.co.uk\/?p=1100"},"modified":"2020-10-11T12:00:23","modified_gmt":"2020-10-11T12:00:23","slug":"reamper-revisited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stompville.co.uk\/?p=1100","title":{"rendered":"Re-amper revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Update: reStomp re-ampers available for sale <a href=\"https:\/\/stompville.co.uk\/shop\/re-ampers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the shop<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stompville.co.uk\/?p=359\">Back in 2012<\/a>, I wrote about re-amping and offered a design for a transformer-coupled interface between balanced-line output from a professional recording device and the unbalanced and lower-voltage input to a guitar amplifier. If you&#8217;re not familiar with re-amping, the idea is that you record (say) an electric guitar clean so that you can replay the guitar performance into various amps and effects chains to get the sound you want without losing the quality of a particular performance.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, I had a commission for a batch of re-ampers and I have a few left over which I have put up for general sale <a href=\"https:\/\/stompville.co.uk\/cart\/re-ampers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the shop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The design closely follows <a href=\"https:\/\/stompville.co.uk\/?p=359\">the original<\/a> but has been implemented slightly differently here and there.
